I really like combining my BYS pink/purple colour change polish with glitter, and this mani is with 17's Glitter Top Coat :-)

The Jelly Sammich Revisited!

A tiny while ago there was a Purple Crumpet Fairy Challenge to do a 'jelly sammich' mani ~ ie. a mani layering sheer/jelly polish with glitter.  My first attempt was a bit rubbish, but then I remembered that my BYS colour-changing polish was nice and sheer, and that maybe it would make a good sammich filling.  I layered it with OPI's I Lily Love You, added 17's Glitter Top Coat (which comes with their current makeup bag promotion), and here I have the results!

I am really, really quite pleased with how this turned out!!  ILLY shows through nicely, and the pink/purple polish does have a jammy look to it!  What do you think?

BYS Colour-Changing Polish

Hello!

This is my first time trying a colour-changing polish, and I LOVE it!!!  The polish changes colour with temperature - purple when it's cold, pink when it's hot.

This is 4 coats of the polish - the formula is sheer but in quite a pleasant way, so I could have gotten away with less. 

When I went out in the cold, the tips of my nails were a strong purple; when I was cuddled up warm in bed, the whole nail was pink.  It was so cute to see!  I am easily entertained, heehee.  You can actually see in the last picture that the polish has gotten more pink than in the previous two - that's because I had just applied the polish when I took the photos and it was still adjusting to my body heat!

Nail Mail!!!

Yesterday I received a very special package in the post from The Girl With A Bow ~ polishes I couldn't resist buying from her sale! 

I chose two colour-changing polishes (really cannot wait to try these out), a mini OPI Ink, and the Ulta3 polish was a very generous extra present!  Thank yooooou!
