Shimmering English Rose

Hello!

For this mani I used one of my favourite nail foils, English Rose (top coat doesn't ruin this one as it does the shiny foils). I decided to top it with some sparkle, so added coats of 17's glitter top coat and INM's silver holo glitter. You can see the subtle holo glitter in the first pic, it looked really lovely and added a fairytale shimmer to the foil.

Random Polish Pick ~ Smoothie Rose!

Hello, I'm back with another of my not-quite-famous Random Polish Picks!

This time I stuck my hand out and grabbed Smoothie Rose by Esprit, a market stall buy.  When I  first swatched this, I loved the colour but hated the shiny-brush-stroke finish and planned to one day try sponging it to see if that was any better.  So here I did!  I sponged it over a couple of coats of No7's Snowflake, topped it with INM's holo glitter and ended up with a very delicate cloudy candyflossy look...

It is dreamy but I don't know if the colour is too subtle to be noticeable... what do you think?

NOTD: Sparkling Ruby Gem!

Hello!

Today I got out 17's Ruby Gem - a beautiful, rich crimson - and topped it with 2 coats of INM's silver holo glitter.  It is insanely sparkly and... even though I firmly believe Christmas should be ignored till December 1st at the very earliest... rather festive!

Glimmering in the dark...

...and BAM!!!

I am loving the holo goodness ^_^

When all inspiration is lost...

... bung a load of glitter on your nails and sparkle away ^_^

I was getting less and less enthusiastic with every mani idea so I ended up putting 3 types of glitter (La Femme Beauty's Sapphire, INM's silver holo, Barry M's Iridescent Pink) over No7's Violetta, a favourite polish of mine right now.

Holo Glitter over Black

Woooo!

Happy Halloween!  I showed you my spooky manis yesterday, but ultimately went for a cop-out of holo glitter on black.  It's still so pretty though!  The holo is 2 coats of INM Northern Lights silver holo glitter top coat.

Half Moon Mani

Morning,

I'm writing an extra post because I am currently poorly in bed :-(  I couldn't sleep so decided to try a half-moon mani.  The moons of my nails painted with No7's So Simple, a nude colour, and Violetta, a deep rich purple.  In the second and third piccies I added a holo glitter top coat ^_^

Boots No7 ~ Milan

Hello, and welcome to another Boots voucher post!

Ever since I was tempted with my first Boots No7 voucher I have been looking at 'Milan', then deciding on another shade at the last second.  This time it finally got selected, and thank goodness it did!

Milan is a pink metallic with flashes of silver...

And with a coat of holo glitter top coat... can you see the sparkle?

I LOVE THIS POLISH.

As soon as I painted the first coat on I was like "Wooooooow".  The colour is so rich, and the texture is so lovely.  Metallic and deep and beautiful.  Completely recommend.

Quick Pics: Uber-Sparkly Moony Mani!

This was my first ever mani colouring the moons of my nails.  Maybe it is just a tad (!) too sparkly; over the dark sapphire I added Facets of Fuschia, then painted a top coat of INM Northern Lights silver holo glitter over the whole nail.

Glitter or no, I do like the combination of lilac and deep blue so I may do this again!
