Engagement Ring & Facets of Fuschia!

Hello!

Today I am ecstatic to announce that I am engaged!!!!!  My boyfriend proposed to me on Thursday and I am currently the happiest girl in the land.  Truly I could not ask for a more wonderful man with whom to spend the rest of my life.

And so my first pic of Revlon's Facets of Fuschia is a very special one, as it shows off my engagement ring ^_^

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ^_^

OK, I'll try to put the soppiness aside and get down to polishy business.  Today I am showing you Revlon's Facets of Fuschia which cost £6.49 - expensive for me, but I've seen so many people blogging about it that I couldn't resist picking it up at Boots.

I love this polish so much!!  And I found a fantastic base colour to pair it with - 17's Midnight Sapphire, a very deep shimmer blue.  The pics show one coat of Facets of Fuschia over two of Midnight Sapphire.

It is difficult to fully show off the polish in a photograph; because of the dark base (and the glitter in Facets itself is set in a black-ish jelly) it's not an incredibly loud glitter look, but it is deep.  So beautiful.  I actually wore this mani a couple of days ago, took it off to try out a No7 polish I bought, then put it straight back on after a day.  I am in love!

Happy hugs,

A Newly-Engaged Lisa

  1. I love F of F as well! It's really cheap here, about $3.75, so it's odd that it's expensive over there. But I LOVE it as well! I put it over a black base, and it looked really pretty too. One of my new favorite polishes!

  4. I know, so weird about price differences. You are in the UK right? If you don't me asking, how much does Rimmel go for there? It's between $2.79-$4.60 ish here. I'm just curious because I know that's one we brand both have as well.

  5. Rimmel... I think their cheapest polishes are £2.99, going up to maybe £4.50-£4.99. If you consider the exchange rate I'm paying over the odds but not as bad as Revlon!

  6. That's weird with Rimmel because I thought it was based in the UK. So confused with how polish prices are decided. and yes, Revlon is horrible in the price difference. :(

  7. Yes I'm pretty sure it is, because the bottles say Rimmel London. I think the UK just gets a raw deal in general lol!!

Also with Revlon I'd been dying to get Starry Pink but we don't seem to have it over here :-(

I really want starry pink too :( I don't usually get Revlons because they're expensive but I got F o F and I'd get Starry Pink if we had it too!
