Hello!
Yesterday I reviewed this Love Heart Plaid stamping plate from Born Pretty Store (review here) and today I'm showing you a quick extra manicure I did using the full-nail tartan pattern on the plate!
I come from the Armstrong family, a big clan from the Scottish borders. I'm really proud of my heritage so thought I'd recreate our tartan via nail art using this stamping plate! The tartan is dark green with purple plaid and red lines. I used Revlon Emerald City, Models Own Pukka Purple, Barry M Pomegranate and matte top coat. Here it is!

Apologies for the lighting; it was a challenge to best show the purple stamping over the dark green, but I am so pleased with it!

How big is the full size stamp that you used here? I ask because I have wide nails and have trouble finding stamp plates that have designs that are large enough to fit my nails...especially my thumb and middle finger. BTW this is totally cute!!!! I am Irish and love the tartan plaid designs like this.
ReplyDeleteHi! I just measured it and it's 1.5cm wide, 1.8cm tall. I have fairly wide nails too and it was definitely big enough :-) Céad míle fáilte (I have it on authority that this is Irish for many welcomes) xx
