Born Pretty Stamping Plate BP44 ~ Elegant Lace

Today I have another stamping plate from Born Pretty Store's own range to show you! BP44 features gorgeous lace designs and some sweet little images like a dandelion clock, just my kind of style.

To show off the plate I did two manicures. On the left I used the lace fan design over a pink glitter gradient for an opulent French look; on the right I used a mixture of images and patterns for a stamping skittles mani!

That lace fan is definitely a favourite! As usual with Born Pretty stamping plates the images are lovely and a great size.

Miss Sporty Peel Off Base Coat

So, Miss Sporty Peel Off Base Coat...

I think this is PVA glue.

It looks like PVA glue.

It smells like PVA glue.

It applies like PVA glue.

It works like PVA glue.

It doesn't have any ingredients listed, which I'm fairly sure is legally required for nail polish.

I think I paid £2.29 for an 8ml bottle of PVA glue.

Born Pretty Stamping Plate BP36 ~ France

Hello!

Today I am showing you stamping plate BP36 from Born Pretty Store's own range. BP36 has a France theme featuring fancy French writing, Parisian landmarks and Versailles damask patterns. I actually lived in France for a year and so I really love this plate. It reminds me of wandering around Paris and visiting the Palace of Versailles!

Recently I did a pale pink manicure with a thin black tip, and I thought it would be perfect to recreate it for this review. I stamped all of the images on the plate across my nails, with the damask pattern on my thumbs. Here is the resulting French-fest!

 Je suis très, très heureuse ^_^ You can see that the images are the perfect size for my nails, including the Versailles pattern which is more than big enough to stamp on in one go.

Born Pretty Stamping Plate BP54 ~ Cute Owls

Hello!

This week I received four new stamping plates to review from Born Pretty Store! This always gets me inspired and wanting to do my nails ^_^

Plate BP54 has an owl theme, with a full nail pattern plus some individual owl images. It also has a complementary leaf pattern plus a delicate flower image which was just what I wanted after being inspired by manicures on Instagram.

For my review I've done two manicures! The first uses the flower stamped with my Models Own Colour Chromes over a white base with a grey accent; the second shows off the super-cute owl and star pattern over purple. Here they are...

I really love the flower because it's exactly what I wanted, but the owls are also adorable. The images are nice and large and fit perfectly on my nails.

Models Own Colour Chrome Collection ~ Swatched!

Models Own very recently released their new Colour Chromes collection, and at the same time held a half-price sale which was difficult to resist! I bought 4 Chromes and have swatch manicures to show you xx

The Colour Chromes are a range of 10 very sleek metallic polishes in a variety of colours that make it a unique and exciting collection. They have a flat wide brush which is different to most Models Own polishes ~ this is to help you get a smoother, less streaky finish as this can be a problem with all metal style polishes. The Chromes are opaque in one coat but I found I needed to add a second to get a perfect finish.

Here are Indigo, Pink, Mauve and Blue!

Pink is definitely my favourite, with Blue coming a close second. The colours are gorgeous. Models Own haven't found a magical solution to getting a smooth-as-glass finish out of metal effect polishes but, compared to similar polishes I've tried, these are looking very good. Another thing to note is that the Chromes hold up very, very well without top coat. I would go back and buy more from the collection and I think that says the most!
