Two Nail Charm Manicures!

Hello!

I hope you're having a nice Bank Holiday Monday! The weather has cooled down a little in the North East and personally I am very relieved. I don't handle the heat too well!

Two of my latest manicures have used metal nail charms, so I thought I'd show you them together ^_^

The first manicure is a butterfly design! For this once I used my "Summer's Day" water decals and butterfly charm from Charlies Nail Art. I cut the decals to make three French tips and one full nail as an accent. I glued the butterfly to my middle fingernail.

The second manicure was heavily inspired by metellitsa on Instagram! I switched up the index nail by painting it white and adding my charm, but everything else is the same design. My feathers are from Born Pretty stamping plate BP-75 and the charm is from Poundland. Any guesses as to what this little critter is - a fox, maybe? A raccoon? Answers in the comments, please!

1. Strawberry Manicure! This is the mani I'm wearing right now and it's cheering me up a lot with its bright colours. They are full cover water decals.

2. Bunny Manicure! I applied rabbit water decals over Models Own Utopia, with a golden accent nail of Models Own Chrome Olive.

3. Dried Flower Manicure! I started with a delicate sheer purple base of OPI's Care To Danse, then applied two mauve dried flowers. I added two layers of top coat to make them look like they were under glass.

4. Boudoir Manicure! I painted my index, pinky and thumbs in pastels, then used my MoYou Flower Power plate and stamping mat to create dark floral stamping decals for my middle nails. I finished the mani with a sinle rhinestone and a perfume bottle nail charm.

5. Beach Manicure! These are also full-cover water decals, creating a bejewelled seashore across my nails ^_^

Cardigan Chic Manicure

Hello!

Today I have a twee little mani to show you! I was going to do a plain French manicure but then decided to take the polishes I had out and change it up a bit.

So I started with the sheer French polish I was going to use already, Ballet Slippers by Essie (I really need to buy a second Essie sheer, this one is being used up way too quickly!). I then took my MoYou Fashionista stamping plate and stamped a knit pattern on top in white. I finished off the mani with a pearl nail charm I bought in a set from Poundland for a cardigan-granny-chic idea...

Since I cut my nails I've been wanting to try out a lot of ideas... my sushi manicure might make a reappearance soon...

Nails with Charm!

Hello!

Today's manicure is a simple pale grey with a very special accent nail! I own a pair of charms that are full-nail covers in a silver filigree design with diamantés, so I put one on my right middle fingernail for a bit of luxury. The polish is Ion by Sally Hansen and here it is:

It feels very special and indulgent (even though they were cheap from Born Pretty Store!) ^_^

I actually wanted to use the charm because I was thinking about cutting my nails shorter just for a change... but now I've remembered another manicure I wanted to do first so you'll be seeing at least one more blog post before I go short!

Perfume Bottle Nail Charm

Recently I have started experimenting with using nail charms, and in my Born Pretty Store review package I received a pair of adorable little perfume bottles to put on my nails! They come in pink, blue and white, and I chose to be sent the pink.

The bottle itself is gold and is decorated with a gradient of pink rhinestones. It's just the right size to sit on the centre of your nail and look really pretty. One big factor in whether I like a nail charm or not is if it's sharp or somehow gets in the way - but this perfume charm lies quite flat against my nail and feels smooth. Thumbs up!

This is so pretty and I really like it ^_^ One thing I would have liked is more charms in a pack, or a mixture of colours - but the price is $1.59 for 2 so it's not bad!
