Random Polish Pick ~ Smoothie Rose!

Hello, I'm back with another of my not-quite-famous Random Polish Picks!

This time I stuck my hand out and grabbed Smoothie Rose by Esprit, a market stall buy.  When I  first swatched this, I loved the colour but hated the shiny-brush-stroke finish and planned to one day try sponging it to see if that was any better.  So here I did!  I sponged it over a couple of coats of No7's Snowflake, topped it with INM's holo glitter and ended up with a very delicate cloudy candyflossy look...

It is dreamy but I don't know if the colour is too subtle to be noticeable... what do you think?

Hugs,

Lisa xx

Halloween Manis!

Hellooooooo!

This is my Halloween post, a bit behind everyone else!  I do celebrate and love the holiday but on nowhere near a scale as they do in the US.  And my favourite Facebook app of the moment, The Sims Social, has been celebrating for a month!!

My first mani idea is the one I'm wearing right now - I had an idea of a bright full moon on my ring finger, a mysterious sponged mist and holo stars:

And one I painted earlier, but discarded due to lack of talent, a spider web design:

After all this, I might actually just go for black with a couple of layers of holo glitter on top - is that a cop-out?!

Spooky hugs,

Lisa xx
